Evening everyone~ Are you watching any movie? I bet you
wouldn’t want to miss this
HORROR MOVIE
that I want to introduce to you all.
SAW (2004)
Director: James Wan
Duration: 110 minutes
“Saw” is one of the horror movies
that I love so much. It has 7 episodes. The story is talking about how a genius
engineer misused his intelligence to invent the instruments to punish people.
Initially the engineer, John Kramer, also known as Jigsaw killer, he lived
happiness with his wife and his unborn baby. Because of a robbery that led his
baby died, he became devastated.
After that, he met a severe car accident,
along with it; he received news from doctor that he got cancer. With all these
happened, he thought that the world was against him, the life was so unfair.
From that time, he twisted the value. He used his talent and started to invent
a certain violent device to punish and torture those people who do not
appreciate lives, people who simply discriminate others and many other reasons.
I feel that
there is a lot of unfairness and challenges in the world. No matter how much
pain John had suffered, he did not have the right to punish people with his
twisted mind.
There is one scene that impressed me so much where John wanted to
punish a British guy who was always discriminating others, he used a type of
strong glue to stick the man on the cushion. After that, he wanted the man
complete a task, if he fails, his friends would die. His purpose to do so was
because he wanted the man to realize in spite of the difference complexion
people possess underneath the skin, we all are the same.
I think that
his intention was good but I do not agree with the way he dealt with the
situation. He would have opted for other methods instead of using violent
punishment. This was the consequence of his unsound mind which led to the death
of numerous people when they failed to complete the mission. Sometimes we might
encounter a lot of barriers, it is the path of our lives, we should try to
overcome it but not to take revenge on the world.
